About this Kindergarten

The Hort features three groups where children can shape their leisure time according to their own wishes. We operate under a child protection concept and promote social interaction through cooperation with the retirement home "Föhrenhof." This creates valuable intergenerational encounters that enrich social learning. Children experience nature up close in the nearby Lainzer Tiergarten and Hörndlwald, where they can go on excursions and observe animals.

Educational documentation and portfolio work are central to our pedagogical approach. We individually document and reflect on the children's developmental steps, making their learning progress visible. We implement MINT (STEM) education playfully, allowing children to discover the world of numbers and nature. Weekly gym classes in the Waldschule strengthen the children's body awareness and motor skills.

We value a trusting collaboration with parents and schools. Educational counseling and developmental support are available to optimally assist the children. Fridays are special days for us, as children are free from tasks and can enjoy various activities together.

Languages

Our Hort primarily speaks German. Children have the opportunity to develop their language skills in a creative and supportive environment.
