The Kinderfreunde Kindergarten at Praterstern in Vienna-Leopoldstadt offers an exciting MINT education for children up to 6 years old. With the "TIMI's MINI MINTS" concept, we playfully promote mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology.

Kindergarten Vienna

As a kindergarten close to ÖBB operations, we primarily offer spots for children of ÖBB employees, but external children are also warmly welcomed. Our kindergarten is a place where children can research and discover independently. We provide a rich learning environment with diverse experimental and construction materials.

About this Kindergarten

In our kindergarten, we place great importance on individual support. Children can experiment with marble runs, magnetic games, and various building blocks. We also have test tubes, measuring cups, and magnifying glasses to explore everyday phenomena. Our goal is to spark children's curiosity and encourage them to ask questions and find answers. Additionally, we use animal-assisted pedagogy with giant African snails, helping children develop responsibility and empathy.

Languages

In our kindergarten, we speak German. We also offer English as an external language to provide early language support for children.

Our educational approach is based on the idea of independent learning. We encourage children in their curiosity and creativity by giving them the freedom to pursue their own interests.
